At RACS, we care about supporting families in a variety of concrete ways. Last year we opened a new food pantry for families in partnership with FoodBank of NYC and through generous funding by the New York City Council. The pantry is the result of a lot of hard work by a group of our parents who identified a significant need in the school community and then succeeded in turning their idea for a pantry into reality. The pantry is open to any family in the school community and is available for use on an individually scheduled basis. If you are interested in using the pantry or learning more about it, you can contact Amir Brann, our Bridging the Gap/community support social worker at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 718-485-1679.
